The Tewksbury Trail Association (TTA) is organizing its annual Trail Pace on Sunday, September 17 at Christie Hoffman Farm Park. Riders of all levels and ages are invited to join the Trail Pace and enjoy a varied course with open fields, forest trails and water crossings.
“We are back at Christie Hoffman Farm Park this year and have developed an 8-mile course with a trail and pleasure pace option that will accommodate riders of all levels”, Jeannie Shuster, President of the TTA, explains. “This year we have an “Open” and a new “90+” division, which means that combined age of two riders is 90 years or over. We have a great selection of prizes for all divisions. All TTA-members will enjoy a discount on the registration fee. And we will have a special TTA Trail Pace 2023 t-shirt for the participants*.”
Joy Custer, who leads the TTA Trail Committee, adds: “Part of the fun is designing the course of this year’s Pace with the TTA team. We worked hard to clear the trails and make them accessible for the Trail Pace. I can’t wait to see riders from the Tewksbury area and far beyond join our event and enjoy our trails!”
The TTA Trail Pace takes place at Christie Hoffman Farm Park on Sunday September 17, between 8:00 am and 1:30 pm. Teams of 2 or 3 riders in four divisions: Open & 90+ and Trail Pace & Pleasure Pace. We will have a specialized horse veterinarian on site.
