The Tewksbury Trail Association (TTA) is getting ready for its annual Trail Pace on Sunday, September 21 at Christie Hoffman Farm Park. Horse riders of all levels and ages are invited to join the Trail Pace and enjoy a varied course with open fields, forest trails, water crossings and optional jumps.

“The start of our annual TTA Trail Pace will be at Christie Hoffman Farm Park. We have developed an approximately 7.5-mile course with a trail and pleasure pace option that will accommodate riders of all levels”, Jeannie Shuster, President of the TTA, explains. “This year, we are also proud to recognize the Brooke Healey Foundation located in NJ, which is dedicated to the fight against pediatric brain cancer — an especially meaningful focus during Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month in September.
This important cause was brought to our attention by Tewksbury resident and Foundation Board Member, Sandy Castle. The Castle family is also among our generous local landowners who have opened their property to TTA trail riders throughout the year.”
Mary-Anne Gerrity, Vice-President of the TTA, adds: “Our much-loved TTA Trail Pace t-shirt* is back by popular demand! This year’s shirt comes in a special color to honor Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.
Winners in each division will receive a ribbon, along with their choice from our signature selection of prizes. We are looking forward to welcoming riders from the Tewksbury area and beyond to join our event and enjoy our trails!”
The TTA Trail Pace takes place at Christie Hoffman Farm Park on Sunday September 21, between 8:00 am and 12:30 pm. Teams of 2 or 3 riders in four divisions: Trail Pace or Pleasure Pace, Open or teams with ages 90+ (riders combined age is above 90 yrs.). All TTA-members will enjoy a discount on the registration fee. We will have a dedicated equine veterinarian on call during the event.
