Where the Horse Is the Classroom

STAAR (Symposium on Therapeutic Advances in Animal Rehabilitation) Equine, presented in collaboration with Equilearn, focuses on equine rehabilitation, sports medicine, and performance care. The program includes 13 live-horse labs, each limited to 15 to 20 participants, so every attendee gets real hands-on time with horses. You choose the labs you want, with no general conference fee, and every lab includes a continental breakfast and lunch, the Wednesday evening cocktail reception, and access to the vendor hall.

The conference offers two tracks: nine RACE-approved labs for veterinary and allied professionals, and four labs designed for riders, trainers, and owners. That second track is where the TTA discount applies.

Soft Tissue Mobilization, Stretching, and Activation Techniques You Can Use on Your Own Horse: Neck and Front Limbs and its companion lab, Back, Haunches, and Hind Limbs, teach practical bodywork you can take home to your own barn.

For TTA members who are equine professionals, the professional track covers topics such as neck pain and dysfunction, stifle rehab, therapeutic exercise planning, lameness evaluation, kinesiology taping, and targeted bodywork, offering 36 RACE-approved CE hours across the conference.
