DONALD E. BROUGHTON President Donbroughton@yahoo.com
My wife Karen Taylor Broughton, and I moved to Tewksbury about 5 years ago. We were leasing a Thoroughbred named Chieftain out of Bedminister and knew this area was the place we wanted to call home.
So, we packed our home in Watchung and moved out to our peaceful community. The very first social event was to attend a Holiday party of the TTA. Needless to say, we were hooked. I took on the job of Treasurer for the TTA shortly thereafter, and have had a blast working with the Trail Committee, the Annual Trail Pace and raising money for those organizations that serve our residents. I also serve on the Tewksbury Equestrian Committee that reports to the Township Committee and enjoy educating new residents about our way of living. You will find me attending most Trail Paces and horse related events here in NJ and PA as a groom for Karen. Riding has always been one of the more enjoyable things I do (along with golf), and I look forward to many more years of service to Tewksbury residents and the horse community. Please feel free to join us anytime and know you will be welcome. I can always be reached via e-mail or by calling my cell at (908) 246-8564. Happy Trails to you all!

ILARIA BORGHESE Treasurer, Webmaster ilaria@therapaw.com
I moved to Far Hills in 2000 and boarded my Quarter Horse, Kiefer, in Tewksbury. Not knowing the Tewksbury trail system, I often rode trails alone and never ventured far. Then, I met Karen Taylor-Broughton, and she showed me miles of trails that I would never have discovered on my own. I was so impressed with the extent of the trail system in Tewksbury, that I moved there in 2005, and became a board member of the Tewksbury Trail Association (TTA) in 2006.
Now, I always have someone with which to ride trail, and I can count on Karen to show me trails yet untraveled, undiscovered, and always exciting. Through Karen, I met many other likeminded trail riders, and we are always ready for a new adventure. In riding these trails, I have discovered spectacular parts of New Jersey that I would have never seen otherwise, making me very proud of my state of NJ.
In addition to my trusty trail buddy, Kiefer, I also own a young trakehner, and enjoy dressage and cross country. Also, I have several Greyhounds and am involved in Greyhound rescue. As you may have guessed, my life revolves around my animals, and I have developed several businesses around them (AblePet and Thera-Paw, Inc.). I work predominantly with veterinarians, and design rehabilitative and assistive products for animals with special needs (www.therapaw.com; www.ablepet.com).
As a board member of the TTA, I have recently been voted "webmaster". So, if you would like to advertise your products on our site or make an announcement in our news section, please feel free to contact me at: ilaria@therapaw.com. But, if I'm not near the phone or on the computer, you can bet that I'm out on trail. Hope to see you out there!

| JEANNIE SHUSTER Publicity
I moved to Tewksbury in 2003 and joined the Tewksbury Trail Association (TTA). I enjoy hunter pacing my horses and met many of the TTA members at group trail rides and at the TTA trail pace. This is my second year on the TTA board and I currently hold the position of Membership Chairperson. I have owned horses and competed most of my life, but riding the TTA trails is the perfect horse activity for me these days! I am a busy mom, work part-time at Prudential Financial and am a cub scout leader so I really enjoy squeezing in time to ride the beautiful Tewksbury trails. I have made many friends and met like-minded horse people through the TTA. I hope to see you out there enjoying the trails! Happy riding.

KAREN TAYLOR-BROUGHTON Chair, Trail Maintenance ktaylor@ktaylorrenderings.com
Moving out to Tewksbury's horse country in 2004, both Don, my husband and I immediately joined the Tewksbury Trail Association (TTA), before we even owned horses! Riding is a passion of mine, therapy in my busy work week. I ride Chieftain, my Thoroughbred, almost every day. I train in jumping, dressage, and cross country. Also, I enjoy clinics and competing in eventing and endurance as well as riding in hunter paces, state parks, and horse parks throughout the tri-state area. With great interest in the vast trail system throughout our community, I came onto the TTA's board serving on the trail committee. My responsibilities include maintaining and marking existing trails, establishing new trails, and maintaining relations with the landowners who allow us to ride on their property. Also, I organize group rides at various locations throughout the area.
When I'm not riding, I am busy with my own business, Architectural Renderings, which I've had for more than twenty years. At Architectural Renderings, we provide renderings of developments and commercial buildings for Architects and Developers throughout the country. Though I love it, my work can get tedious and Chieftain is my sanity!
Don and I have made many friends through the TTA. With the love of nature and this equine community, you can bet we'll be out there, somewhere, horsing around! Saddle up and enjoy this great countryside with us!!!

| DEBBIE NUTTING Trail Maintenance Committee Barkingdoghill@msn.com
Having received my first pony Snips at the age of three, horses have forever been in my life. I have always enjoyed trail riding. As a child trail riding consisted of making believe you were a pioneer, being outfitted with a western saddle, saddlebags containing lunch, a canteen and of course your faithful pony. Crossing a small stream became the Rio Grande. There was always the thrill of discovering a new trail and not knowing where it would lead. Well, some kids never grow up. Since March 2009, I have been serving on the trails team of the Tewksbury Trail Association. I moved to Tewksbury in 2004 with my husband Glenn, who is not a rider but lets me be retired from a career in court reporting and stay home to play with my two horses and Belgian Sheepdogs. I still enjoy trail riding and also competing in agility and tackling sheepherding with the dogs.

| CHERYL SHORT Hospitality Chair
My love for horses stemmed from my childhood, riding the horses from the farm next door and always wanting my own. Later in life I introduced my son Dylan to horses at the age of 4. Dylan became very successful in show jumping/equitation and I became a successful show Mom and groom. After 15 years of boarding at Briarwood Farm, in Readington, Dylan was now off to college. Our family could not just end this wonderful time we had with the horse community, so we built our own barn and moved LouLou, our warm blood mare home. LouLou how has a retired Quarter Horse, Fantasia, as a best friend and we lease ponies for my daughter. I still ride LouLou in a lesson jumping program and she has learned to do trail paces. My family enjoys walking out our back yard and jumping on TTA trails as well as helping out with trail clearing. I look forward to joining the TTA in organizing hospitality events and working with the very dedicated and passionate group of people of the TTA!
